Hey what's going on- nobody seems to post in the discussion board anymore! I must admit- I am rather quiet myself, but I get alot of inspiration from fellow ft-ers in this particular section. So let's get back to talking again- and I'll be sure to put my 2 cents in as well!
I'm starting up a new 8 week program again beginning today. I'm a bit disappointed with my last 8 weeks. school started and i haven't had time to get to the gym as often as I should. But I'm going to adjust things so I get there at least 4 days a week- i was trying for 5 and it got overwhelming so I gave up faster, but I can handle 4 days. My goal is to lose 20 lbs in these next 8 weeks. Its probably a bit on the higher side, but I am confident I can do it with the correct diet. So how's everyone else been doing? |

I am here!! Things are plugging along for me with no results. I know I need to bump up my exersize from 3 days a week to 5, but I am finding it very difficult to get in those 2 extra days. My short term goal in to lose 10 lbs in 2-3 months, long term goal is to lose 65lbs overall. I'm still workin...hope everyone is doing well!!

I'm here, but my eating hasn't been completely improved yet. It will kick in though! I've still got hope and determination.
Where is Vedakathryn and DeeTee? I hope life is going well for both of you. Pop in soon if you can!! :) Your goals sound great CristalBelle! You'll succeed. Keep plugging along! Kaiaw, you'll lose those 20 lbs. How about setting smaller increments towards meeting the final goal. Say 1-2 pounds per week. That'll be easier to do and you won't become so frustrated if it's less than a pound. Good luck! |

Hey there and thanks for thinking of me! I have been trying to open a new realtor office and my son and wife and baby have moved down and here I am, finding myself forgetting all about ME! I am very frustrated and angry with the way I am taking care of ME and hope to find more time to connect with all of you as I know I need you and miss you all! I am SOOOO tired at the end of the day and would like any suggestions to help find the way to work out with this exhaustion! I pulled that muscle and was unable to work out for four weeks and now I have a nasty cold for the last two! HELP! I know how important my goals are and am very upset that I cannot have more energy to get going! I cannot do it in the a.m. as I am up at 4:30 a.m. the way it is just trying to get everyone else going!
Hugs to you all, I will be back, please throw out some suggestions! -------------- Veda MISERY IS OPTIONAL ***When you are up to your ears in trouble, try using the part that is not submerged. ***The difference between a dream and a goal is a plan. HAVE A GREAT DAY! |

Sorry I dont, but if you keep working and improving, think about how great you're going to look by next spring! Keep focused on the things that make you happy and get rid of the things that don't - especially if they are beyond your control. I'll warn you, keep dong what you're doing, and you may be beating the men off with a big magic wand!:laugh:

Im here. Im having the same problems as Veda, no time for me! What with opening the business, working almost full time, studying and having the house and kids to deal with I forget to deal with myself.
Im starting to feel like crap again, so Im determined to get back into something. Thanks for thinking of me  Donna -------------- I knew my parents' loved me, my bath toys were a toaster and a radio ~ Rodney Dangerfield. |

Sometimes, it's those low points that make the determination even stronger. You can do this!
Juggling work, studying, and taking care of the house and kids is hectic indeed. You'll get things back into a routine. Best of luck! How's the business going thus far? |

Hi Phimugirl,
The business is going great guns. We've been open 9 days now and had at least one job in every day! That's pretty good seeing as we only know one of the customers personally, and we haven't advertised. All of our customers so far have either just seen the sign and come in off the street, or have been referred by other mechanics in the area. Personally Im stoked! Obviously it can't support both of us just yet, so Im still working. But, it will only take about six months by my reckoning. Possibly wishful thinking, but it's wishful thinking that got us open in the first place. How are your workouts going? Good I hope. Donna |

That's wonderful news!!! I'm sure it'll keep doing well. I'm just as excited for you about this new business adventure and the success thus far!!
Thank you for asking about me! I'm beginning my second 8 week routine on Monday. I've been walking in the evenings, but I'm very ready to get back to the weights. How's it going for you? Have you been able to work a new schedule with the new business? |

No such luck Im afraid. :( It's been around a month since I've had a scheduled workout. Having said that though, Im a cleaner. Every day I clean up after people lucky enough to be able to afford to stay in the Resort. The resort I work at has an unbelievable amount of stairs! You cannot walk to any of the rooms without having to walk up a flight of stairs. It hurts! So I get a bit of a workout every day, just not a scheduled one.
I have to say, cleaning sucks, I have one day off a week and I spend all of that day cleaning my house! As you can imagine, I spend time at work, then go to the workshop to do paper work until closing time, then come home and cook for the family. I haven't done any studying for at least a week now, frustrating! ok vent over, lol. Im glad you are doing well! You are looking great! Donna |

Thank you Donna!
Walking stairs is a great exercise. You'll have very nice looking calves from it! You've made me tired just reading what you do in a day. Get some rest!! |

Hey Phimugirl
I worked out the other day that I've only had 8 days off in the last 8 weeks. One day a week. Im stuffed! I get all emotional when Im tired so things seem so much worse than they actually are. If I could control my food intake I think I could really kick some butt in the weightloss area! Unfortunately Im weak minded and by the time Im finished work at 3pm I dive for the quickest food I can find. I need to start taking lunch with me, healthy lunch! Hope everything is going well for you. Take care Donna |

Job well done, Donna!!!
Today, I'm running on my treadmill. Drinking the allotted amount of water. Also, grocery shopping!!! We can kick this weight and fine tune our bodies. Great work. :) |
