Got some Jumpstretch Minibands from Westside-Barbell today and I can't figure out how to bench with these things. They're too long to just wrap around a dumbell on the ground, and not long enough to wrap around twice, could somebody help??

Do your bench pressing in a power rack and hook the band underneath the rack. Them the other end around the bar sleeve. The bands are very strong. I have doubled them before but it is real heard. Im assuming you got the green jumpstretch bands or mini's?

you can also attach them to a 45 through the hole........and lay it flat on ground and attach the other end to the bar.

We don't have a power rack where I work out. We have something similar that you can do squats with but it's not a cage, and you can't do bench in it. I bought them from Westside Barbell and asked them the same question. And how lame is this, they emailed me back sayin that their 40 dollar bench video tells how to use them. F THAT I was pissed to say the least. But thanks for the replys guys, I think I'm going to try putting them under some plates like Andrew said.

You should not loop the bands through plates because that will increase the tension of the bands and not be the proper set-up. Use heavy dumbbells. Put one end of the band on the bar. Take the band under the dumbbell and place that end on the bar. The band is in a double looped position. Make sure you have bands on both sides.

Thanks Gator, I did my first speed bench with bands Sunday and it felt awesome! I'm going to try speed squats with it next speed day.
