I've always wondered what exactly does protein do to the body?? I sorta know that it helps to repair muscles and that we should intake 1 g per every 1.5 lbs. but ive always wanted a good scientific definition of what it does...:big_smile:

Our body is made up of mostly protein except for water. It is one of the most important elements that help keep us in good health, and is important in the growth and development of ALL body tissues. Major source of building materials for muscle, blood, skin, hair, nails, organs, like our heart and brain.

Correct me if im wrong but its the only element that builds muscle and repairs it.
