Being overweight is a common trait these days and there is not enough help out there. Find out how you can shed those pounds and improve yourself from within.
I'm not obese but feel overweight & joined here as my clothes were feeling tight. I've been 3 weeks on the programme & have tried to stick to the exercises when I can additional to my own cycling/running/swimming/walking etc. I find it very easy to slip into old eating habits! I checked my Body Fat % and was shocked to find it was 26%. I didn't think it would be so high as my BMI is a healthy 23. Any tips on lowering the BF%. I want to loose some weight plus inches but long term - not a flash in the pan & am prepared to try to stick at it. This week I had family to stay & went back to old eating habits with them all having icecreams, cakes etc.!!!! Need I say more. Any advice gratefully received. I'm doing the work but seeing no results except I am feeling a bit more toned but the tape measure & scales are showing no results (hardly surprising given my lapse last week but I was very active physically).
Sorry if this is the wrong section - I'm still learning my way around here!

Welcome, Fortyhall! You are welcome here anyday, anytime! It is easy to slide back into eating all that sweet stuff, but feels so much better eating the right stuff! Keep the tape measure going and be patient, long term will take a bit longer to accomplish but is well worth the wait! Just keep working out and work on that eating right - add some weight training and I'll bet you will see results quicker!
Good luck and stop by anytime!!
