Noticed there was no new Monday thread for this week, so I will step up for it. How is everyone?? Were your weekends good?? Mine was pretty good. I did slip up on Sunday however. Went to a wedding and the food was TERRIBLE, so went to McDonalds afterward and had chicken nuggets. Oh well...this week is all brand new!!

Thanks for starting the thread CristalBelle.

My weekend was a bust. I got some exercise cleaning my house, weeding my garden and that's about it. I ate ok except for the ice cream. Yes the ice cream. I bought it for a party we had. I didn't have time to make a dessert so I had a "make your own sundays" kinda thing. I think I'll go home and throw out the left over ice cream so I don't eat it all. It's calling my name as we speak.

I need to get my sh!t together. Can someone kick me in the arse please.

Last week I did alright- went to the gym 4 times, but I feel like I'm slipping a little. Probably because I have had to switch to working overnights for a few weeks- its just so hard to find the time/energy to get there right now. I went yesterday but missed today- but I'll go the rest of the week to make up for it. Luckily I've been able to maintain my diet and have still managed to lose 1 pound.

My week was ok UNTILL the weekend. my mind said "food" and my mouth said "ok". I did workout 5 times and do 3.5 hours of cardio. I managed to loose 3 pounds and 1 inch. Good luck to everyone this week!

I pulled a muscle around my lung from front to back and for a full day could only take tiny breaths as the pain is equivalent to a busted rib, I did it good this time (I do it about every 6 months or so) and today, six days later am still feeling the throbbing. I tried to work out my legs yesterday as not working out is driving me crazy, it seems I'm pullin' something every couple of weeks lately. I did this doing a twisty swimming exercise. But, my attitude is good and I am watching what I'm eating in the meantime and just am considering this one of those times there is nothing I can do rather than get down about it and give up. I couldn't even get on the computer and type as raising my arm on that side was excrutiating.

My goal this week is to ease my way back into exercise and stay cheery!

Wow Veda! Sorry to hear you are sore. You got the right attitude though!

I've only done one official workout this week, but I literally haven't stopped moving at all. Well, Ok, I have, but only to sleep and eat! Even eating is a challenge. I just didn't realise how much work was involved in taking on; full time work, full time study, two little children and a hubby!!!! This is only my first week. Im going to be stuffed by the end of the year!

Im really enjoying it so far though. If anyone has any accounting knowledge, can you let me know, at some point over the next 6 months I may need to pick your brains! Im doing MYOB, manual bookkeeping, computer applications, and a few other things for a business course. My head hurts just thinking about it!

Hey, Donna, I worked as an Accounting Manager and Assistant to Controller of a million dollar companies finances so I may be able to assist a bit. I used Quickbooks for my business and others I managed and it worked quite well.

I am going to school on the 16th for two weeks to get my Affiliate Broker's License, I'm not going to be a realtor, but managing an office full time besides my writing, so maybe me and you can have some pity parties when we get frustrated!!!

Good luck, really, sounds like you are doing great, even though you are having to work your tail off! You are accomplishing a lot!!!!

That's fantastic Veda! Im going to remember that and make sure if I get stuck I come straight to you. At the moment we are doing manual bookkeeping, using my brain WAY to much! But I think I'll get a better grounding doing it this way, to learn the whys of it, not just that it works.

Thanks again!
