After giving birth to my daughter, I would work out and experience an itchy feeling in my left hip/buttock muscles. It's not on the surface so I can't just scratch it to relieve it. It drives me crazy sometimes because it always happens when I workout now and doesn't go away sometimes until the following day. Tightening the muscles helps, but what else can I do about it? How and why does this happen? This has been 2 years now that this has been going on. Please help! I greatly appreciate all of your replies. Toucanlove

I think it could be siatica...
Common when women give birth... There are several Yoga poses that can help relieve the pain, but I suggest you stay away from the position...

Maybe you would get more responses if you posted this in the female area of the boards. Just a thought.

I've not had that experience, but if you've had this happening for 2 years, I'd recommend seeing your dr.

I have experienced all over itching when running on the treadmill when I begin to get hot and sweat, but I've talked to others who've said it is normal.

Good luck! It sounds frustrating!!
