Hello everyone,How did you do last week? I am excited because I lost 3 pounds and 3.5" (2.5" of which were around my waist)!!! I did 4 hours of cardio last week and 5 times of weight training. I must admit that I cheated on my diet 3 times, however my diabetes medication is starting to kick in and my cravings are pretty much gone. So here I go into my 3rd week of my first 8 week program with much excitement. Incidentally, this is the first time that I have been able to stick to a progam for this long (sad, I know). Thank you for all of your support!

Keep it going, hma0575 and remember - it takes 3500 calories to gain or lose a pound of fat, so a 1-2 pound weight loss is about as much as one can lose in a week without compromising lean muscle and a loss of body fluids, so have patience and keep working out, you will succeed if that is what you want and it sounds like you are well on your way!!!! Take pics to help you with motivation wearing the same outfit, like every two weeks or more. Keep a journal to help you sort out your feelings if you like. I'm rootin' for you!
