Well, all, from Thursday-Sunday I was a hurtin' unit with a pinched nerve or something, but today I could actually move my neck and lift my arms so I took my first swim in my pool and it was AWESOME! Just what I needed and I did a lot of water exercises on lower body, but only swam about 4 laps to avoid messing neck up again. I was in there for two hours and I have decided to do that as much as possible as it was uplifting and very enjoyable exercise!
My goals this week are to remember what I am doing all this for and not give up! How are you and what are your goals for the week? -------------- Veda MISERY IS OPTIONAL ***When you are up to your ears in trouble, try using the part that is not submerged. ***The difference between a dream and a goal is a plan. On Saturday I finished my first 8 week program with ft. This week I'm sort of taking a break- it works out well for I will be out of town for the last half of the week. Still gonna hit the gym a few days, but figure my body could use a break so I'll be taking it a bit easy. Next week I'll be at it hard core.

My goal for the week is to work off all the horrible foods I had over the weekend. Drink all my water, eat all my fruit and vegies and workout three days this week.
School holidays suck. It's hard working out with little ones around but I'll do it, because I need to. Donna -------------- I knew my parents\' loved me, my bath toys were a toaster and a radio ~ Rodney Dangerfield. |

Hi eveyone. This is my first time for Monday Check in. I just completed my first week with FT and i am totally hooked on exercise. I did not work out last Thursday, and I was sluggish all day. I have been getting up early and doing my cardio first thing in the morning. People look at me funny because I am dragging a sleeping 2 year old in a wagon behind me, but I just laugh. I did not gain or lose weight last week, but my body fat % went up 1. i did not change my diet last week, I just keep eating like normal because when I change everything at once, I get sick. This week my goal is to change my eating and hopefully drop a few pounds!!:dumbbell: Heather.

My goal this week is to get back at it. I've had a rough couple of weeks and the gym seems like a distant memory. I want to get in 3 weight sessions and 4 cardio this week.
Good luck everyone! |

Hey guys. I haven't been on in a few days, but to me it feels like weeks!!! Today I go in to talk to my Dr. about switching bc, and haven't really been working out thinking I would wait until after that change has happened. Stupid I know, but hey, any excuse not to do what I should works right??! Anyway, I am back, and checking in, and tonight I will be going for a walk with my hubs, and having ground turkey/brown rice tacos for dinner!!!(my fav) Ohhhh my goal for the week....To work out twice, whether it be walking, or weights, just doing it would be good!

Good to see you here, Charlie, you are always great to have around!!
Hi and welcome to FT, ferguson2027, it is good to have you here! You said your weekend went okay, but your wife asked for a divorce? I am sorry, you must have some mixed emotions right now that like to tag along after getting an announcement such as that...but I think you are also saying you have a "date" already Friday, so maybe you are doing better than I would! At any rate, it sounds like you are doing a great workout - that always helps relieve stress! Take care of yourself and I hope to see you at next Monday's check-in! ============ Quoting from ferguson2027: I am new here so i am late checking in. Weekend went ok. Hi everyone. This week was not as good as I'd hoped it would be. I seemed to have lost my schedule a few weeks ago and can't find it. (Actually, it's in my purse but it's been invisible is all).
I need to do a little soul searching tonight. I need to ask myself why I am doing this and what it really means to me. I need to remind myself that getting healthy has to be the biggest priority for me right now. And I need to know that I can do it. For me, I need to really schedule things for myself. I can't just say I'm going to go the gym 4 days this week. I need to decide what days and at what times and what I'll be doing. (Yes, i'm anal) Believe it or not, I feel accountable to the little calander in my purse. I'm going to keep babbbbbbling so change the channel now if you've had enough. I can only blame myself for the past few weeks of being lazy. But it's also been a frustrating trip so far. I've seen very little results when I was consistant and even though I know it takes time, I was hoping for some changes over 2.5 months. SO - I've decided to juggle things up a bit. I'm going to give cardio a little more emphasis on my program. And maybe do a little less lifting. I just want to jump start things. OK, you can turn off the mute button. I'm done venting and ranting and feeling sorry for myself. I'll be back on Monday with a whole new outlook. Have a good weekend everyone. |

Oh boy, I certainly know how you feel, prairiegirl! Just remember it is NEVER to late to pick up the pieces and continue onward and forward! You did as I have, been upfront and honest with your feelings, which to me is being accountable to yourself, too.
I have found the waiting to be the most difficult part of all this - not the exercise, not the eating right, but the waiting for results and sometimes they just don't come when I want them to, but I have to believe they will. It is just very frustrating, but look at it this way - we have time to find our health, it took a long time to add up the pounds, it has to take a while to get them off, but compared to one another, I still believe the taking off goes quicker when we abide by the "rules", it just seems to take forever! But, just sit back and imagine yourself walking around in that favorite pair of jeans or a dress you've put off buying and how good that will feel! How good it will feel to do some of the things in life you may of passed on... I really have enjoyed and counted on seeing your posts, so I'll hope your inspiration and encouragement will continue to help others while you are out there helping yourself! -------------- Veda MISERY IS OPTIONAL ***When you are up to your ears in trouble, try using the part that is not submerged. ***The difference between a dream and a goal is a plan.
