Aloha all,

I was thinking about ways to help me to get my behind moving (exercising in the morning). I live in Hawaii. I would like someone or possibly more that I would be accontable to in the mornings. My goal is to be up an elipticizing by 6. No one I know here gets up that early. I would dig it if I had someone to call and all that, but even better if I could check in after my workout via email or IM or message board whatever works. I figure that way I would feel like "I can't tell them I didn't do it"...or get encouragement if I don't. Say hey if I do and good job if you did too. I don't know how to receive calls that early without disturbing my household, but maybe intercepting a call would be motivation enough :big_smile:What do you guys think and have you tried out stuff like this, how did it go?

I would say your best bet would be to hang around here on FT. There are plenty of people here who will motivate and encourage you.

Great to have you here, haunanib, I have never been to Hawaii, but my father brought pictures back two years in a row after his vacations where he had a wonderful time! Sometimes I'm up that early but lately I've been getting up at 3:10 a.m. to help my son with his transition to his new early job and I go back to bed at 5:30 a.m. for about 2 hours, so I'd miss you, otherwise I would love to do the same, I think that is a wonderful idea, I like being accountable, too, it helps keep me in check - no one here really cares whether I work out or not! Good luck, hope you find someone to help you out, otherwise, just get on and post to let us know you did it, I'll watch for you!
