HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD I WORK MY MUSCLES PER WEEK IF MY GOAL IS BUILD MUSCLE?

3-4 I would say.

Don't work each muscle 3-4 times. Try to go to the gym 3-4 times but work each muscle once a week or every 4-5 days.

Yes that is what I meant, goto the gym 3-4 times a week. One day do legs / abs, one day do chest and triceps, one day do back and biceps, this is what I personally do. Or you could look at one of the plans here.
