I keep working on my abs. I been doing ab roller, crunches, twists, and leg lifts. I just never see any results on my lower abs. at one time or another I have had really great kupper adominals but never lower adominals. I want to know why that is because you have to admit having great upper abs and no lower abs is pretty embarissing.

Lower abs are very difficult to develope, primairly becuase mose people engage the hip flexors into the exersise to assist in the lower stomach workout. I started to do leg raises with weighted ankle bracelets and broke out of a rut. I also have added some kicking with a heavy bag into my workout. If you have ever noticed guys in martial arts have pretty good stomach muscles, that's because in order to kick well you have to engage your stomach (without thinking about it). Might try this.

I had the same problem in the past. For me, doing a lot of lef lift variations helped me. Try a lot of variation and start your ab workout emphasising the lower abdominals. Good luck!

Have you tried any reverse crunches using ankle weights? I found that to be very beneficial to me in my lower ab training. Also doing hanging knee raises while holding a dumbell (light) in between your ankles also works. I found that in order to really make your lower abs show, you have to add weight.
