When keeping track of what you lift for exercises like dumbbell presses, do you write down the individual or combined weight of the dumbbells as the weight lifted? thanks

It really does not matter as long as you stay consistant with which method you use. Personally, I do the same as Hec

I write down the individual weight, but you should do whatever you are more comfortable with writing down. Just make sure you remember if you are writing down the combined weight or the individual weight.

Why not also write down if the weight was individual, or combined. Since you probably already have a pen handy. That way there is NO room for error.

I agree with david_s81. I write down the indidvdual and to make sure I remember, I also write down "individual" next to the weight.
