I am about to the end of a 12 week program. It changed most exercises every 3 weeks. I really like this program but I know that you must change up exercises to continue to progress. Will the fact that the program changes up every 3 weeks be enough of a change or should I change the whole program?
Hi atiger. Changing the exercises on my workout every 3 weeks seems to have pretty good results for me. For example, I've been doing bicep / tricep combo workout on the same day for about a year now and I really like the pump I get. Obviously I change the order, excercises, sets, reps, but never the muscle groups until 3 - 4 months. Right now I do chest - shoulders on day 1, back - bis - tris on day 2 and legs on day 3.
