Hi, is it okay if I start the post today? Hope I'm not butting in, I'm leaving for the theatre and thought I'd write mine before I go!

My weekend consisted of household chores again, but I DID get my husband to work out with me...and whine like a baby! "It's too hard", "I can't do it", "This is stupid" (stretching), "I'm not doing this again", and then our dog, a big lab, thought we were dying on the floor while we did our crunches and came to rescue us from our pain by sitting on us, walking on us, licking our faces (YUCK!) and then finally after 10 minutes of frenzy, laid down between us on his back like he was going to just give up and join us...where is the video camera when you need it!

Anyway, so I worked out on the Saturday instead of not working out at all on the weekend, as I'm always bustin' tail doing something else around the house, and I watched pretty much of what I ate, though I did eat my first hamburger in 4 weeks, but I worked out VERY HARD after, not much consolation there, but I figured at least I did something than just eat and lie on the couch as I used to.

I am going to buy a scale today, first one in awhile, and I am going grocery shopping and getting some protein stuff at the health store, but first, I am taking the kids to the movies and this is the first time in weeks I have been there and no doubt will be tempted with the supersize popcorn, supersize pop, supersize boxes of candy and such, but I will consider this a test of my willpower!

Well, my check in goes like this " I THINK I AM DYING!!!!" Actually I am fighting a cold, as well as terrible allergies, and truly just want to crawl into a hole and sleep for the next 2 days. However, I printed out my workout for today like a good girl, and I am praying I will get over being sick long enough this afternoon to actually do it!!

I am sorry you are ill, CristalBelle! There are so many that have been sick and then to cap it off with allergies?! You are a trooper, though, aren't you, printing off your workout!! Hope you are feeling better real soon!

My weekend was a bust. AGAIN. I ate ok (mostly. Except friday which is officially my eat what you want day). It rained and rained and rained here and my husband and I cuddled on the couch for most of the weekend. Couldn't do yard work, didn't want to go out because it was cold.

I missed my workout yesterday. My head hurt so bad I thought I was going to puke! Then my cat was sick and we had to take him to the vet (he's fine by the way). Then ... I slept in this am so couldn't make it before work. I'll go at noon and then again after work.

Good job Veda on getting to the gym on Saturday. Hope you're feeling better soon CB.

Well ,as an update for Tuesday, I am feeling a lot better, but due to coughing all night last night, now I can hardly talk!! LOL, makes answering phones at work this morning very entertaining!! Didn't do my workout yesterday. Had the worst headache when I left work(went home and slept for 3 hours) But, I have it with me today, and since I have 2 rest days in a row this week, I will do it today and make up for myself!! ROAR!!! (pumping myself up)!!

Tuesday I did legs and this morning I did chest and back. I'll have to sneak in my weights somewhere tomorrow. I got a surprise business trip tomorrow. Travelling always makes it difficult.

I haven't done much cardio the past week. I need to get that back on track.

Well, this weekend was ok. . . However come Monday night, it was a friends birthday and wound up giving in and eating some "brownie" cake but I peeled the frosting off and had Low Carb Ice Cream with it so. . . I tried at any rate, then we found out that hubby is working 3rd shift this week so it has our sleep schedule completely thrown off, took the car in for maintinance < I know I cant' spell> and since I live on a military base I had the wonderful experience of having to walk across base to the main gate to get picked up again to retrieve my car cause they wouldn't let the driver back on base to get me :angry: BLAH BLAH BLAH anywho, diet is back in check and I am doing my work out if it kills me today :dumbbell::angry::dumbbell:
