I do my weights workout at home with free weights. However I only have three different weights, one is too light to use at all know, and the other two are 2.3kg and 4.5kg.
I am currently doing 2 sets of 12 reps with the 2.3kg, I was wondering if I would be better doing 2 sets (if I can manage it) of 6-8 reps with the 4.5kg.
Could anyone advise please.

You need to fill out your profile. It depends on whether you want to tone up or build muscle. If you want to gain strength and mass use the heavier weight at lower reps and to tone use the lower weights with higher reps.
