I've studied nutrition and fitness for over two yaers now, but have never really dug down and applied it personally. So far, this site is helping me greatly with my exercise routine. The plan seems well balanced and suits my needs. The problem I have is with my eating habits. I'm trying to break the habit of eating when I'm stressed. When I get stressed, food "FEELS" good to me. I can help motivate others to keep on track and even answer their questions on food and exercise, but when it comes to myself, I'm lost.

Do cardio or go to the gym instead of staying stressed.

I have to agree with carivan -- it has helped me alot, I even went a step further and bought one of those really big boxing bags and I beat on that like there is no tomorrow, I made my husband cringe when he tried to keep up! Find something that you enjoy and alleviates those stressful times. Instead of opening a box of candy, I run for the boxing bag!

Thanks, guys. Alot of my stress comes during my work day. I guess I could just step away for a few minutes, going outside or something, til I'm ready to deal with the situation again.
