I had begun running about 2 months ago, the last two weeks I had been experiencing quite a bit of pain in my left knee. Had an MRI and the Dr. said that I had a irritated Tibula - anybody know how on earth I could have irritated my bone during running?

If you don't have a lot of protective tissue (cartilage) on top of your tibia then you can irritate it with any repetitive motion.
