I think he's been hiding from the Mutt Challenge trash talk. We didn't mean all that stuff about team texas. alright, we did, but it was all in good fun.

you can't scare us away! don't expect me to be around much in the next 10 days though, i'm in job training and don't have readily-available internet access. i might pop my head in every now and again though to dump a little garbage on the pile:big_smile:

...and i hope tex's shoulder is ok. you know, he might be in the process of moving back to texas from boston. you never know...i hope he's doing ok though, i miss him!

Yeah, I think he is home now. I thought I saw him online the other day but he didn't post. I think David hit the nail on the head.

I want to see that, but it's not playing anywhere around here. Can't wait to see Raising Helen and Day after tomorrow.

Holy crap, i've been out quite a while...

I've hopped on once or twice since i've been home. I've been moving crap...packing/unpacking and the shoulder has just gotten worse. Tomorrow i go in for x-rays and the whole deal as the doctor tries to figure out what to do with me. So basically i find out tomorrow if i'll be back in the gym or not. I've been out for 3 weeks now and i'm getting pissed...ive done some leg work though. Kinda had a little period where some depression hit me, but nothing i couldn't pull out of. Its just been hard getting back home after finals and all...thanks for the concern

I start a job next week (if no surgery) with my father working in accounting (i'm good with numbers)...and i'll be on in the evenings then...but tadah! i have made an appearance, and i'll be sure to post the results of the doctor tomorrow.

oh but some good news that i forgot to post:
The Texan women sure didn't waste their time on getting me out on a date. One of my old dear friends made it quite clear she wanted me to ask her out for dinner and/or a movie. That made me quite happy.

So yeah, like i said, i'll post the news about the shoulder tomorrow...keep your fingers crossed, although i have a feeling i'm S.O.L. on this one...never been this bad...

i'm dying to lift heavy...and be strong like bull.

Hope everything goes well with the shoulder. We need team texas in the mutt challenge. With them nipping at our heels we will feel more pressure and lift heavier. Good stuff with the accounting job, stuff like that looks perdy on a resume.

Okay, just had the doctor appointment and it sucked.
He told me i probably will not be able to powerlift...ever...because of my long line of shoulder problems. So that's fun having someone tell you that if you try you're screwed.

I have an MRI in an hour to get a different view of the shoulders so that'll be fun...

I'll let all y'all know in like 3 days when the doctor contacts me again about the shoulder situation and the outcome (surgery or rehab)...but he told me till he speaks to me, no lifting. (he can't stop me from doing legpress or squats!)

Tex the docs are right....about half the time. Hang in there man. You'll be back. I made great gains on my legs and abs while my shoulder healed from surgery last June. Keep on keepin on,bro.
