Hi archan, I don't think there has been enought studies done on cratine to know about all the side effects over a long period of use. I have better luck with protein and glutaminee along with a lot of aeobotics.

I agree with Keith. There is no proof on creatine as far as it harming the human body. If you take it be sure to drink plenty and I mean PLENTY of water. That will help keep it moving through your system. Just eat a ton of whey protein and the amino acids are essential to big gains. You'll get there. The Hog.

Actually Im also thinking of trying creatine soon.
But a while back one of my friends was taking creatine and told me he had to stop cause he was getting real bad nightmares and big ass sweats at night. Now was he taking too much ? Was he drinking alot of water?.. I just dont know how WELL he was taking it. Maybe he was abusing it.

Well i have been taking it for about 4 or five years now on and off. I have never seen any side effect what so ever, besides a smooth look and a 'little' bit of a boost in the gym. Back when i first started to take it, i could not belive the pump i got, but i does not seem to do too much for me anymore. i think after awhile your muscles gets saturated with it anyhow and you just piss out most of what you ingest.

apparently the first 10 pounds that you gain from taking it consists mostly of water, so maybe thats where the big pump feeling comes from. As for side effects I've heard of, theres joint problems if you don't drink heaps of water, and it can be bad on your liver if you take too much.
heres an article on creatine: http://www.testosterone.net/html/10creat.html

Creatine hasn't been around long enough to determine if thier are any side effects.
