Whenever i do drop set's in my workout i really get pumped i usually do them as my last set.I use the same weight as a normal set 74kg then and do ten reps and that would be a normal set but by dropping the weight i can do another 30 reps or so depending on how much i drop it.Could you do drop sets on every set as part of your normal workout please give me some info on them cheers. Well.. I think you can use it only as shocking your muscles with something new, but it won't work for long..what you really need is to have continuous tension on your muscles..so the slower and the more controlled leads to a better workout Amr

I once ordered a course call muscle now and in that course he suggested that you go to total failure on each set and on the preceding set you drop any where from 5-10lbs, depending on the muscle group your working with. I found that it is very hard to maintain failure on every set and it is very exhausting. You might want to check it out. It's in musclenow.com
