Ok I really want to get this straight. As I understand here are the two main pro's/cons for morning and afternoon/evening workouts:
Morning: Good-Burns fat Bad-Possibly burns muscle
Evening: Good-Warmer muscles, better performance
Bad- Easy to skip/only burns carbs, not fat
So if I want to work out in the morning to burn fat but not muscle, what do I do? Do I eat a very small amount of food to help kick-start my body? Or do I take nothing? I'm very confused...:(

Eat before you workout. Have a meal replacement bar if you don't have time to make something, or a cup of oatmeal with some protein powder..
There have been several posts on this in the last few months, search fitBuddy for morning workout, food, eating for some good results.

Yea, this is a good search. You might also want to look at the nutrition/recipe board, where a protein/oatmeal topic is. Good ideas on how to prepare the oatmeal. And it tastes GOOD!
