Lately I've been noticing something. My arm strenght hasn't seem to be gaining. I'm on my 5th Wk on the FT program for gaining mass etc. and I've noticed that I can't seem to lift as much as when I was doing my own thing. One example. Today I was doing back and calves. On the T-Bar incline row I did 4 sets of 45's 15/12/10/10 my goal was 20/15/12/10. Before I remember being able to do 90lb and then some of at least 10 reps. Another example is the wide grip pull downs. Doing close grips, before, I could do about 200lb of at most 10 reps. Today I was doing wide grips with weights of 120/130/140 and my arm muscles felt really tired at the end of each set. I'm I doing something wrong? The only diff. that changed was that I had been taking creatine in a bigger dosage. Now I'm takin about half of it and before I would workout ea. muscle group 2x a wk and do more excersices then the FT program. Any suggestions or ideas? Should I keep w/the program and then try doing my own routine. I like the FT routines but I feel it's not working for me. Thanks,

my diet has had a big change. eat 3-4x day, shake post w/o for lean muscle maximizing and i'm doing hardly any cardio. My arms have never given out from a weight a was sure I could do, so I was hoping someone might be of help with suggestions. timmstar may be right. My work schedule gives me less time for other stuff so I'm barely getting my 8hours of sleep and 3 meals a day. Maybe a meal replacement would help some.

Your NOT soposed to use your arms on a BACk day, BAck day is for traing the back, you should pull from your back!

ok...I understand what you mean but how exactly do you mean, pull with your back...? I know you didn't mean it litterally but still. Should I be using the horizontal or vertical handles on the incline t-rows...? I was actually a bit sore from my back on my back w/o for the first time, don't know what I did diffrently.

You need to try and Focus on pulling from the back, and not just yanking with your arms. It doesn't mean changing the exercises, but try and concentrate on primarily using your back. Going Slow, and controlled, and really focus in on feeling your Lats and back doing the movement. When you just go fast, and yank, you will use more from your arms. Arms are a secondary on back day, and you shouldn't really feel your arms more than your back, they will get a small workout, but shouldn't Give out on you.

exactly, more than likly your doing to much weight, concentrat on the puling from your lats.... I know theres that word again "pull" but I can't really describe it. BUT it was also describe as "pulling" from the elbows.....imagine theres a sting on your elbows and pull from that posistion, thats all I can tell you.
