Hello all, long time user, first time poster. I was just wondering how long is too long when you have a tense/sore chest(pecks). I used to work out religiously in higschool but since starting colledge i haven't done much. No "real routines", just the odd bench or curl here and there. I've started the 12 week mass program. And after working my chest i get real sore for 4 or 5 days after words (sometimes even a week). Is That normal?? I feel like such a noob now, since my ma threw out all my muscle mags and routines. So any advice to prevent and cure would be great.

Muscle soreness is normal after a workout. The muscle soreness shouldn't last more than 2 days. But sometimes it doesn't come until the 2nd day.
