Hey all, I know this is nothing to do with fitness goals or anything but does anyone have any tips or anything to do with helping me perform either a back handspring or back tuck, for either floor or trampoline? Thanks Sara

you could start out by getting valdezes down first... then try one handed valdez... after you got that down pretty good, just go ahead and do the back handspring on a soft surface at first (grass/mattress/carpet)... have someone spot you just in case... don't over do it or else you'll feel it on your wrists... good luck!

Well being a cheerleader i'm around tumbling a whole lot.........if you have never done them before at all, i suggest you go to a cheerleading gym, or gymnastics gym so you can have some one who knows how to spot you. If you ever wanna do a hand spring or tuck on the ground don't do it on a trampoline, makes you think you can go higher than you really can. This is not good for a beginer. Besides if you throw your shoulders back and cause the rotation to go "up and back" you could flip off a trampoline.

oh right thanks. The reason why I'm asking is because at the moment im doing my work experience at a gymnastics club and im jealous lol i want to be able to do a round of, back handspring, backtuck. I've got the round off down thats about it! I have been trying it on my trampoline and its easy on there! I'm just scared to try it on ground.
