how much weight should i lift?

i started the workout about a week ago and its pretty cool but i just want to get some examples or suggestions on how much weight i should use and how often to change it. i am a 16 year old male, 5'9, 146lbs, im pretty in shape so if someone could help me out, i would appreciate it.

It is mainly trial and error. If you get to your last set and can do more than is prescribed on the workout than add wieght next time. If you can barely do the last rep than you are at the right wieght and if you can't get to the last rep use less wieght.

Thanks for the info, I was wondering a little about that to. I workout with my Pappy so he generally end's up being the one to calculate the weight needed.

im the same height, age, and just about 150lbs, so i should be a good rule to what you should lift, but that aint so, trial and error, add more when you feel you can. good luck.
