Hi you guys, I was wondering if there's any movement which you can use to train the median biceps head?
(by that I mean the head closest to the torso, I don't know the correct name)
Cuz that head seems to be a bit smaller in my left arm in comparison with the right one.

Thank you in advance, Feije

ps sorry 4 the mistakes:(, I'm not english...

my left and right biceps have a different shape to them too, but as i just got them bigger, it's become harder to tell the difference in shape.

why not ensure you do a variety like rope curls(suppinated), ez bar curls(as 21's),concentration curls, and hammer curls... (there are others you may prefer)
Really concentrate and ensure both arms are doing the same work- sets/reps/movement. Don't have a stronger leading arm that takes a little of the pressure of the other.

Just wondering,...what's the deal with the ez curl bar? I work out at home, and have only seen pictures of them. Is there a muscle development difference? Would any one recommend that I get one?

The easy curl bar helps you to be able to position and hold your arms in various positions to work out different muscle's. Here is an excerpt from muscle and fitness,

Wide-Grip Barbell Curl-
Taking a wide grip on the bar rotates the arm outward. From a biomechanical standpoint, that means that the biceps head with the most direct line of pull on the radius (the forearm bone the biceps attaches to) is the short inner head.

Narrow-Grip Barbell Curl-
Going with a narrow grip (hip-width or closer) rotates the arm inward. This alters the biomechanics of the curl in such a way that the long (outer) head now has the most direct line of pull on the radius.
End excerpt.

Remember that the bicep is made of 2 muscles as the name implies (for those who didn't know, and no insult intended). Which muscle gets bigger or worked is dependent on your hand hold.

also remember, the best way to work the bicep in a whole is to have a "natural" grip.......that is stand in front of bar hands to your side, move it up to grab the bar from that posistion. This is the "naturl" grab posistion. The even more naturl posistion is the hammer curl.....think about it when you walk hands are next to you sides palms in. so again hammer curl is a very natural one as well.

aLso suppinated bicep dumbell curls work well too.

I appreciate the explaining of the ez curl bar, but why can't you use those same grips on just a normal bar? And BigAndrew, could you explain how to do suppinated bicep dumbell curls? I always like to learn new bicep workouts, because they tend to be the funnest for me.

Supinated curls.... are easy.....let the dumbells hang at your sides, as you come up turn them to a regualr curl, then back down.( pinky starts in the back of movement....as you come up yyou turn it toward the out side of the bicpe)
