I noticed Gator talking about strait bar skull crushers, is there a reason to use the strait bar rather than the 37lb bar? I have been useing the smaller bar because it seems to let my arms sit in a more comfortable position, any thoughts?

(not sure what the name of that smaller bar is)

The name of the smaller bar is the EZ Bar. I prefer it for skullcrushers and I really don't know the reason to use the straight bar, but Gator's one guy I don't question.

I believe it is because of your hand posistion......I prefere the easy bar, because its a more natural state for your hands to be in that angle, than it is flat......straight has to do more for power, targeting more the tricep...e.z bar is more kinda for skulpting.....i think

I have tried skull-crushers using an olympic straight bar, and an EZ bar. From my own experience, The EZ bar is definately easier on my wrists. But, if you train heavy, I don't really think it should matter if you use a straight or EZ bar.

The E-Z curl bar is easier on your wrists and love performing skull crushers with it. I also love performing skull crushers witht the straight bar. I like to mix them up.
