So, my week off is coming up (every 12 weeks, right?), and am curious about some things. Do I still do cardio during the week? Or, cut that out too? What about diet? Keep my protein intake the same? Anything else?
You should keep your protein intake at the same. 1gr.per 1lb. And continue to eat the same but you should probably cut your carbs down since you won't be in the gym liftingso you won't need to the extra carbs since you won't be burning them off. I would just take the whole week off from everything and let your body rest and heal. I would also still drink lots of water.
There is nothing wrong with doing some lite cardio to keep your metabolism up. Good Luck I hated my week off lol. - Mike
