i am trying to increase my bench after being stuck at the the same weight for a while and i was reading a magazine where it says to work chest twice a week? Is this is a good idea?
a possibility. Doesn't hurt to try. There are a variety of ways to attack your goal.
Fewer reps, more weight... diet... getting the appropriate sleep. They all play key roles, so look over your routine to see if you can adjust something.
I do chest twice a week, and seems to be good for me, my weights for reps have gone up 20lbs in the last 2 weeks (have not been benching too long though)
