Hi People

Here is alot of debate about the amount of protein your body can absorb at one meal time. (Yes I did do a search on fitbudy, but not excatly what I wanted)

Can anybody tell me how much protein you can take. For Example, A can of tuna has 23g of protein. I usualy eat two cans which makes the protein 46g. Will my body get the full 46g or will it only get 30g for example.

And would it be best too have alot of smaller meals during the day, instead of having a few big meals with alot of protein ??

This is something I really find hard to find information on.

The whole idea of your body absorbing a certain amount of protein is such an old school beleif. Not only is protein needed to rebuild muscle, it is used to help your hair, skin, and nails regrow/rebuild. Protein will be shuttled to your bones, teeth, eyes, heart and just about every other organ in your body. And yes, it is better to eat frequent smaller meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism stable and your muscles quenched. Hope this helps, good luck.
