I work regularly thrice a week according to the exercises given on freetrainers. I would appreciate if someone could tell me why i get muscle sprains. one thing I should admit is I don't cool down after exercises. I eat a whey protien shake after my workout. Another thing is how to remove fast the sprains. I have heard if i do exercises of the part which is sprained with low wts, the pain goes of fast. is it true? or i should not workout those parts at all until it goes
Fill out that profile buddy....and as for sprains...if you are continually re-injurying yourself you need to take a hard look at how you are training...technique, weights, pace...etc. As for recouping from a sprain...if what your talking about is a ligament/ muscle from wrists, ankles and that type of sprain than rest and ice, as well as some ibprofen will do until the swelling goes down then you work back in slow...but if you mean muscle strains...like soreness after a workout then light work will flush out the muscle yes....i think you need to specify what type of injury you are sustaining and how...i hope some of this helps.
