With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.
Do most of you count the water taken in from your shakes and water used for other supplements as part of your daily intake or do you keep them seperate? Example - I mix protein powder with 16oz water but I want to drink a gallon of water a day. Would you count the 16oz towards the gallon?

I've heard you can, and I've also heard you can't. I guess it depends on what you consider a source of water. I don't see a problem with a shake, but when people start counting coffee in their water count, that's when it gets a little odd. I usually try to drink over a gallon of plain water every day...
