Drink a protein shake post workout... half fast, half sipping it for the remainder of the hour... gastric emptying occurs approximately half an hour after finishing the shake (if mixed with water). After that, you can have your next meal... I would go for the chicken option
Yep, protein, a whey protein wil absorb rapidly and some simple carbs to get into your musles fast - look for a shake with protein and dextrose/maltose for carbs. Then an hour later have a meal of lean protein and veggies, maybe some beans.
