hi guy's
When I do upright rowing, after a few reps I get a sharpish pain in my right rist. Should I stop or carry on going? And could it be that my rists arn't strong enough?
Thanks

If you feel any type of sharp pain, you should stop the exercise because you are causing damage. Pain is your body's way of telling you to stop. If you are getting pain in your wrist, you could be damaging tendons which don't heal quickly.
What kind of grip are you using? Wide, narrow, or in between? How much weight? Are you using straps? Do you work your forearms at all? Give some more details and we can give you better advice.

I had the same problem before, and found that widening my grip reduced the angle of my wrists and made a world of difference. All of the factors mentioned by jplatz are also important, so try experimenting with different grips while using low weight.

My Grip is between (shoulder width), 25 kg, I'm not using any straps. I do workout my forearms.

You might want to try these with dumbbells. Also, you could be going too heavy. If you are working your shoulders with your forearms, the shoulders are a larger muscle group so you should work on them before forearms.
