i know that it is importnant to let your muscles rest after you work them out. you should not work the same muscle everyday, well does that go the same for abs. if i did crunches and leg raises on monday can i do it everday or do i need to give my abs a break as well. thanks alot mike:dumbbell:

Your abs are like any other muscle in the body, they should also have a time period to recuperate and build.

They need time to rest, but it depends on the intensity at which you train them. They are very dense muscles and heal back very quickly. But I wouldn't ever train them while they're sore. When it comes down to it, just do whatever works for you.

I firmly believe that any man\'s finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is the moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle-victorious.
