ive searched up other posts about alcohol i was wonderin if u drink like a little amount say one beer right before u go and work out? does that affect anything at all?

i'm sure it does....i mean, alcohol is a depressant and when doing something intense such as lifting, i would imagine it would have some effect on your performance. but i'm not positive, thats just my 2cents

Yes - alcohol will only be detrimental to your work out. You will find that hydration is very impotrant to your health - alcohol will only work against you. Don't get me wrong, a beer every now and then is ok, but right before a workout - not a good idea.
