In an old article i read at the beginning of last year before i was really into working out, and i just wanted bigger biceps (now i know i want a well rounded body) it said that this one famous weight lifter had a five minute workout for his arms...and that was all that was needed. So intrigued i read into it...
It went kinda like this:
A 2 minute long pull-up (one minute slowly up, one minute slowly back down)
tricep pushdowns with forced negatives
30 second rest
A 2 minute long dip (one minute slowly down, one minute slowly back up)
Preacher curls with forced negatives.

Now i never could even BEGIN to try the whole 2 minute long pull up lol....it would hurt like the depths of hell burning through my arms. Has anyone ever tried doing a 2 minute long pull up? Jeebuz...it hurt.

Don't worry about those silly magazines. Just do a solid, core base workout and eat and rest and you will grow.
