most people take a week off after a couple of consecutinve weeks... some people take two weeks off after they finish programs like the 12 week mass program offered here at FT...
oops, didn't finish my post... anyhoo, just take however much time you feel your body needs... if you take a weeks off and still feel tired and weak, take another one until you feel like you're ready to go back to the gym... good luck...
