hi all .. i lift 6 days a week doing legs once a week hard...i do 4 setts of everything i do other than squat and deadlift... my sets range from 8-10 reps ..first going somewhat light than heavy and than the heavist while still repping out...and then lift again .....i have several question...1 what is the best way to build muscle more reps less sets or other...2 my intake calories is about 3500 per day is that good cuz i am a 6'4 250 pounds and i spend atleast 2 1/2 hrs. at the gym aday ...i aslo do cardio for 2-3 a week just sprinting for like 5- 10min..should i get more calories in me or no ...3 when i squat i am like in a sitted postsion is that low engough or should i go lower ,i do 10 reps the 8 then 6 then 4 then 1 ,,going heavier and heavier same on deadlift is that right ...i am trying to train for football any tips on lifting or building speed...thanks

If you're training as hard as you're saying, 1-1.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week is enough. With what you're doing now, you are most likely overtraining.
