Hey,
Ive worked my abs time and time again but I am never satisified. This is the problem. My upper abs are very muscular and defined, but then once you get to my belly button there is a crease and then this little roll of fat about two inches long. Two inches down from my belly button, there is another little crease where the roll stops, and the rest of the way down there is no fat. I am fairly thin too. I'm 5' 8" 135 - so can somebody please help me to get rid of this little roll?

Abs are made in the kitchen. You have to eat well and train hard. You can't spot reduce you have to just eat healthy and stay in shape by exercising

You need to look into diet because you can not spot reduce. Also what sort of ab excersises are you doing? Unless you work them with resistance you will not get that 6 pack they show on tv all the time.
-------------- I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it is gone past me I will turn to see fear's path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain

actually you don't need resistance to build your six pack. you just need a variety of exercises. try reverse crunches or leg raises along with crunches to get all the abs worked. and don't forget to work the obliques too. here is a sit of exercises:
