I'm a bit confused right now as to how I should determine if I'm losing fat. The method i have been using is to simply measure my waist, but the problem which i just thought of is that i am using creatine, and i believe that creatine makes you retain a lot of water while you're on it. And ultimately, wont this extra water being held make my waist line bigger than it may in fact be? I may be totally off and wrong on this I'm not sure, but maybe someone can clear it all up for me,
Thanks

Creatine does help with water retention, but all over your body...not just your waistline. One simple way to check if you're losing fat is to use calipers.

Ya, I know it would be overall, but i was just worried about how much it would affect my waistline. Over the last couple weeks i have lost about an inch on my waist which I'm so happy about, but I was just thinkin that maybe i lost more than that and because of the creatine it's not showing. Thanks for the advice on the calipers
