Yet another question on HIIT

Hi, I've been reading through the various archived HIIT links and was wondering if anyone could advise me.....
To burn fat Is it better to, as I do now, do low-intensity cardio work three days a week for 25 minutes (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and a full-on HIIT cardio workout for 25 minutes twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday). I also do a pretty high intensity spin class on Saturday mornings (for kicks).
Should I be doing more HIIT? I think I read somewhere that HIIT workouts shouldn't be done every day, but I'm not sure if that's the case.

6 days a week is a lot of cardio...I used to do the same thing. Never under estimate rest!! Since i've cut down to 4-5 days of cardio, mostly HIIT and some low intensity on days i'm feeling a little burned out works great for me...but then again everyones different. Just thought you might like to know how it works for me...

I do 30 minutes to an hour of cardio (ellipticals) after I do my scheduled weighttraining. That is five times a week. Does elliptical work qualify as HIIT cardio and if so am I doing too much?

Weights and cardio should be split up by at 6 hours optimally. If that isn't possible at least split them. Do a search on hiit and see how it works. Ravenwolf had a post last year that helped me figure it out. It works best if you do cardio 1 or 2 day and the hiit 1 or 2 days. Keep your body guessing.
