Im having trouble to maintain my diet anyone know if a weight gainer would be a good choice

http://www.vitaminworld.com/pages/file.asp?xs=F28512455F3740FC8969559915A7A19B&PID=236&np=0

Im thinking about that one it says it has 900calories in 1 scoop w/ 1g of fat and 24 grams of protein. Will this make me fat or will it add muscle to my frame? Comments?

Are you having a hard time eating frequently? Or do you plan on adding these weight gainers to your daily consumption?

Both im a college student and dont have much time holding down a full time job either. I would plan on using the weight gainer until I got to the weight (with muscle not fat) that I wanted to achieve. I dont want to put on fat because im trying to actually shed the fat from my midsection mainly my stomach will this do the trick or should I do something otherwise.

Most of these weight gainers have a fair amount of sugar. Personally, I would rather stick with real food and just increase my meal frequency. If you don't have time to eat frequently, then you're better off looking into MRPs instead of weight gainers.

Is it unrealistic to want to add about 8-10 pounds within 2 months time?

8 to 10 lbs of weight can do. 8 to 10 pounds of muscle .. no way.

No, that's about a pound a week...that should be attainable.

C2sellit, I used the NLarge2 weight gainer product by Prolab for about two months. I put on approx 10 lbs in this time. I can not say all of it was muscle. My waist increased about a half an inch. I used the product along with my normal healthy diet of 6 meals a day. I used one of these shakes as one of my meals. Mixed with milk it has about 900 calories. It will put on the weight, just watch where it's going.

My experience has been, that it's been hard for me to gain any size(muscle), I know I have to rely on suppemets to get those extra calories--my calorie intake is not enough. I have changed my aproach for this month--now I'm eating 5 to 6 times a day-one of those meals is a weight gainer--but I just mix just a little bit with milk. I thnk the weight gainer is too sugary, and there's no way I'm going to mix those 3 cups, with 2 cups of milk!!! The weight gainer is 1400 or so calories(3cups)plus the milk is 800-If I add just one cup or less to a lttle bit more than 2 cups of milk--I think that will give me some 600 calories--should be enough, I guess(can't wait to see my results at the end of this month!!) Come on muscles grow a bit!!!
