i say you rest until you feel better... heh, i'm originally from brazil and i grew up playing soccer (24-7-365)... i didn't have a pair of shoes until i was 11 years old, and i remember playing on dirt roads all the time... anyhoo, the point i'm trying to make is that i'd constantly injure my toes so bad that sometimes there'd be a chunck of it missing from teh front of it... and still, i'd keep on playing and exposing my opened toes to all of that filth... and still, my feet hasn't fallen off yet... and neither has any of my toes given me any problems... i know that your case is slightly different than mine, but the key is to go when your instincts tell you you're ready... heh, i know this is not the best way of going about it (scientifically speaking), but it's always worked for me... good luck
