whats the perfect plan for success

I have been lifting weights for about 5 months now and how seen quite a few results. Now I feel that I want to build muscle mass even faster. What would be the best plan? Using protein drinks before a workout or after?

Everyone has preached that you have to make sure your diet is in check. You also have to make surethat you are lifting correctly.
