My muscles are still pretty sore from working out 2 days ago. Should I wait for them to not be sore before working out or should I keep on ripping at the strenght training? Anything I can do to prevent this or help it to go away faster?

There has been tons of post put on this website about muscle soreness. Go to the bottom and do a search for muscle soreness and you will get several hits. You should usually give the muscles a good 24 to 48 hours of rest to recover.

Stretching and warm showers/baths help. Jumping into the next days workout will help too. The pain will ease up eventually.

Like Charlie says, it will ease up eventually. I am usually sore for days, depending on workout and intensity. Sometimes, however, you may not be sore at all.
