Hello to everyone I have just registered and will be doing the home abs exercise.
One quick question... I want to loose my disgraceful beer gut. I'm skinny build but have this terrible belly since about 17.
At home I have a cross trainer machine but that is it. Do you think electronic abdominal exercise machines are any good? Would I be better off buying a matt and rocker thingy..?
Excuse my vocab I'm a complete fitness newbie and know more to my friends as a complete drunk!! haha :o)

liek many have said abbs are built in the kitchen,
what do you eat? u need a good diet for them to show
do u do cardio? cardio helps burn calories wich is fat.
HOWEVER like many have said and i have said you CAN NOT spot reduce, that is u can't do crunches and expect to loose weight in ur stomach......when u burn calories u burn overall calories, no in one "area" of ur body
as for the electric things they are crap, those where actually designed for muscle strains and sparains by " massageing" the muscle, everyone has a six pack its just a matter of getting it out fo the " frige"
how i help some

Hi,
Thanks for that advice. I have a cross trainer machine I will use for cardio and I think I will buy this... abs crunch machine:

Thanks for your advice I've always been bit scepticle of those machines especially when I saw my friend put one on his face and said he could feel it right through his teeth.
Infact you can watch it here http://www.brooky.com/movies/MOV00117.MPG
Have a nice day :)

there are very few abb machines that work in my opinion.....they are to easy to cheat on and use ur arm for leverage, or u wind uop using ur hip flexors........best thing that works for me is plan ol' crunches, with some help from cable crunches and maybe a abb crunch machine at my gym, but the key is to use your abbs, crucnh with ur abbs and not let momentam take over
