hey. i need some help. my workout calls for machine standing calf raises but my gym doesn't have a calf raise machine. i was wondering if there were any substitutions to calf raises?
There are a couple that I can think of...but you're better off looking for yourself. Click on Fitness Resources and choose muscle targeting. All of FTs excersises are listed there.

u can do them in a leg press, or in a smith machine........or a realy easy way on the ege of somthig flat( treadmill, even a thick phonebook lol)just make sure no matter what u do full range, no sissy calf raises
