Okay sorry for the long post...Here is the deal. I am 6ft 195lbs. I have about 16%bf. A year and a half ago I was 245lbs and probably 26%bf (if not more) So now I am pretty thin with some muscle. The only thing is that I have pretty narrow shoulders and wide hips. I have relatively thick legs and decent arms but a small chest and small shoulders. Should I train for mass and increase my calories to like 3000 a day? My fear is that I put on fat very easily and I am afraid to go back to being fat again. I usually dont gain weight like most guys. I gain first in my legs and then my stomach and last in my chest/shoulders. My goal is to have a much wider upper body than lower body, but it has been difficult because my legs getter stronger and thicker much quicker than my shoulders/chest. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
P.S. Measurements...6ft tall 35" waist, 47" around shoulders, 42" around chest, 42" around hips, 26" left and right thighs" Rbicep 16.5" Lbicep 16.25"

guyfornsi, With weight training it is possible to sculpt your body. First and foremost do some research on food here and find out about proper eating . We are very close in height and weight so I can tell you that 3000 cals per day is very close to right. They must be clean calories and that takes a little research. Next you need the resistance training and cardio. The exercise programs here can be tapered to meet individual needs. Welcome to FT. Ask questions.
