Should I do home training before lifting weights, or just skip it. If so, sould I do the whole 8 weeks?

If you are not going to a gym and have no equipment at home then do the home training.
If you are going to a gym, try the beginner program on here.

I have dumbbells at home, but thats it.

You can do alot with db's providing you have variet of weights.

Try this-follow a program here at ft. Substitute exercises or change them so that you can work each muscle group with the db that you have. You should be able to work almost all of your muscles with db. As you progress add plates, a barbell, etc. Also you can get a Swiss ball (I think it is called) which will add some variety to you workout. Fairly inexpensive way to go. Good Luck
